We’ve been working with Hertsmere Leisure to send a precisely targeted mailshot to thousands of casual members and prospects. And it’s not the first time. In fact, versions of this campaign have been sent out for the last 5 years.
Hertsmere Leisure’s Marketing Manager, Jital Rao said ‘The results have been fantastic over the years and the ROI is amazing – it’s a no-brainer to make this campaign a regular event.’
The aim of the campaign is to persuade casuals to become members and for prospects to visit one of the eight leisure centres run by Hertsmere Leisure around the Milton Keynes, Borehamwood, Bushey, Potters Bar and Watford area. We use data analytics to profile potential new members and to make sure we only contact those most likely to be interested. We also work out which one of the eight centres they will probably visit so we can send them very specific information and offers (and no, it isn’t always the one nearest to their home!).
With print by Big Wave Media each postcard has been designed by Hertsmere Leisure to appeal to different segments of the target audience. Precise targeting reduces wastage and improves sales for maximum results. It’s also possible to trial different offers against a control group to find out what works best, meaning results continue to improve year on year.
